![]() A few years after the Great War between two conflicted kingdoms, the world was at peace. Lost Soul Aside's action takes place in a universe where magic mixes with futuristic technology. Our goal is not only to eliminate the monsters that broke into his world but also to discover the reasons that were behind the attack. It can be argued that DMC, Onimusha, GoW, Bayonetta, NG, etc. Lost Soul Aside is an action RPG inspired by Ninja Gaiden and Final Fantasy XV. However, in the end, maybe we are just arguing semantics, we clearly choose to define certain individual games differently. People are rejoicing and saying "LSA, DMCV and Bayonetta all releasing in 2019.glorious", so I think people do believe the game will scratch that same itch as those definite character action games. There will definitely be overlap- you can see it in this thread. I don't think neither Horizon or Nier Automata fit the bill of being rpg's and the descriptor of "action game" is more apt for them and as I've said previously, LSA may have rpg characteristics but at its core, it will be an action game. You might not have heard of the over-the-top action game before, but after. I'm not intending to condescend but it takes more than just leveling up to be considered an rpg. Lost Soul Aside, which looks like an intense hybrid of Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, has just got a brand new trailer. Some will call Horizon an rpg but to me its an action game/tps with rpg elements. That argument extends to Horizon as well. I think it's completely removed from something like Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest, and even the likes of Dark Souls/Bloodborne. I think Nier is an action game with rpg elements. I think LSA will have rpg like elements but not truly be an rpg- I think the game will hold a far greater emphasis (imbalanced focus) on fast paced combat than any concern it will have for being an rpg. We haven’t heard much about Lost Soul Aside since December last year, but recently the game’s creator Yang Bing sat down to do an interview, talking about the difficulty of the game, Sony. Well, maybe from the creator who tirelessly worked to get the game off the ground in the first place, maybe just releasing the game is enough for him.Ĭlick to shrink.I'm sorry but I don't share your opinion. If it doesn't release relatively soon, it'll be swallowed up by both of them, not mention GoW and will largely be ignored by gamers. DMCV has so much hype swirling around it and it hasn't even been announced yet and Bayonetta 3, while not receiving nearly as much fanfare, is coming from a developer with a critically acclaimed pedigree and are some of the leading minds of the action genre. I feel as if its better that it'll hopefully be released sooner rather than later. ![]() Hopefully a date will be coming soon for it. Despite coming from rival kingdoms, Kazer and Ventas were childhood friends. There's nothing wrong with that though, it's one of the best action games around so if you must imitate something might as well model your creation after the best. The protagonist's movements, aerial combat and launcher all look like something from Ninja Gaiden. ![]() The game looks good and its bears a SIGNIFICANT resemblance to Ninja Gaiden more than any other character action game.
